A Common Bond is a Simple, But Beautiful Thing
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up,
just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
I’m here at the Allume Conference for bloggers with my co-founder of CirclesOfFaith.org, Kimberly Amici. And we’re having a great time. The community is so sweet.
Pretty much everyone at this conference shares a common bond. We’re bloggers. We might be very different in many ways. Our message, our purpose, our audience, our age, our lifestyle…different.
But because of what we share, we have a common bond that unites us and frees us to embrace one another generously. I’m loving it!
The conversation is easy. The encouragement is real. There’s an atmosphere that says “Welcome.” An exchange that flows. An openness that breaks down.
Tomorrow I will leave this place, this sacred space. I pray that I will extend further the grace and love that’s been extended to me. That I will take home what’s meant to be taken. And leave what’s meant to be left.
Every experience changes us.
What have you experienced lately? And how has it changed you?
